E stata data la denominazione di F142, numero nello stesso modo come abbiamo visto per la prima Ferrari  California (denominata F149), e si dice che questa prototipo utilizzi un V8 da 4,5 litri, oltre a ciò possiamo notare che su questo modello cè qualche aumento delle prese daria e uno scarico in stile Scuderia.







Si dice anche che su questa vettura figuri una potenza di circa 550 cavalli.
Le immagini che vediamo oggi, sembrano essere di un prototipo in prova nella sua fase iniziale di sviluppo, forse per testare un nuovo telaio o le impostazioni del telaio. Secondo alcune fonti, la nuova vettura avrà elementi stilistici in gran parte dalla vecchia F430!

Per 5.899 dollari, circa 4.500 euro, la società di elaborazioni Roush potrà portare la potenza della vostra standard Mustang in una bestia da 701 cavalli. La società ha infatti realizzato il motore TVS2300, che passa poi lungo la catena di produzione di sintonizzazione così da calibrare il compressore per eseguire 100 cavalli in più sui modelli standard della Mustang, per realizzare applicazioni speciali fino a 701 cavalli.



Il pacchetto include il sistema di ricarica completo TVS2300 Roush con i nuovi collettori di aspirazione superiori e inferiori per laria ad alta capacità e un più grande compressore TVS.
Una calibrazione personalizzata ROUSH è inclusa, così come le rotaie del nuovo combustibile e un alto flusso di carburante iniettori, una capacità ad alta portata della pompa del carburante, e un corpo a doppia valvola a farfalla elettronica.
